I just updated from kernel 3.2.7 to 3.2.8 and X won't start. The kernel fails to load the nvidia module with the follwing error: 'Exec format error'. Same for the virtualbox kernel modules. This is on x86_64, multilib and all testing repos enabled.

Downgrade to 3.2.7 by

pacman -S core/linux

solves the issue.

wasn't 3.2.7-2 not affected by this?

Nope. I just did pacman -Syu, excerpt from my pacman.log attached.

I had to recompile both nvidia-ck and broadcom-wl-ck when I bumped linux-ck to 3.2.8-1 as well. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Linux-ck/Changelog
