the trace is not very helpful. do you have any 3rd party plugins? they usually crash firefox

ls /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Unfortunately the only plugins I have installed are in .mozilla/plugins, and they are moonlight (silverlight-media-pack-linux-x64-16-1.so) and npatgpc.so.
ldd npatgpc.so:
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xb77c6000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0xb778a000)
libX11.so.6 => /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 (0xb7654000)
libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0xb755c000)
libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 (0xb7473000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0xb7446000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0xb7429000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xb7288000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb77c7000)
libxcb.so.1 => /usr/lib/libxcb.so.1 (0xb726a000)

try, for testing purposes, to drop those plugins and see if firefox is still crashing.
Comment by Bob Remart (bobthepurple) - Monday, 27 February 2012, 23:22 GMT
Crashing still occurs.

Do you have a collection of URLs that always reproduces the problem? Is this still an issue?
