Description:
Since it's inclusion in the community repo, milkytracker does not list jack as a possible output driver anymore, despite the fact that it's an optimal dependency.

Might be a simple question of re-compiling with jack installed, or maybe jack2-multilib (the version I'm using) isen't supported, somehow.
This task depends upon

Hi, thanks for reporting, I'll look at it.

Ok, I tried compiling with --with-jack, but milkytracker crashes when I select JACK as the driver. Will try with jack2 as well.

No luck with jack2 either. But, you can configure SDL to use Jack, and SDL is already compiled in.

Changing to upstream feature request, to support Jack with a different method than SDL.

Ok, enabled jack at compile time with --with-jack and added a message to the .install file that milkytracker must be started with SDL_AUDIODRIVER=jack the first time (before selecting the Jack driver). This avoids the crash.
