I'm getting xsession-error warnings like the ones below with all gtk2 apps after upgrading earlier today, but the apps seem to be working okay. None of the warnings appeared in earlier gtk2 versions. These errors occur while running XFCE4, Fluxbox, and Blackbox. Thanks for your help. :)

Examples:

(firefox-bin:5290): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has wrapped in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)

(thunderbird-bin:5328): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has wrapped in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)

This is not really a GTK bug. The new version has some fixes for length types, which were causing problems on other platforms than x86. Many programs still use the wrong length types when passing a length type to that function, so GTK just reverts to the old behaviour and posts a warning then, which you are seeing.

For more information:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161520

Besides the extra warnings you won't have problems with it, at least, not on x86 platforms ;)
