Description:

Like the title, here the output:

/usr/sbin/alsaconf: line 264: /sbin/modinfo: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/alsaconf: line 271: /sbin/modinfo: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/alsaconf: line 279: /sbin/modinfo: No such file or directory

Is this because we are trying to move things away from /sbin?

alsaconf is broken for other reasons as well that I have no intention of fixing.

One user suggested to remove alsaconf altogether, just as Debian did: http://wiki.debian.org/alsaconf : "The only valid use-case for alsaconf is aiding the configuration of ISA sound cards."

I do not really use it, so +1 for removing. In any case, either remove or maintain, I dare say.
