DetailsSo coreutils has 'shadow' in depends but the 'shadow' package is entirely unnecessary. `su` includes <shadow.h> which is provided by glibc and only checks /etc/shadow (owned by filesystem) if it is present. So there's no reason 'shadow' should be in depends.

This seems to have been there forever! At least back to 6.10...
