DetailsHi,
Allthough Arch is usually against patches, some projects seems to use patches as an alternative form of configuration options. Dmenu is such a project, and the official webpage provides several alternative patches: http://tools.suckless.org/dmenu/patches/ The xft patch is particularly popular. The AUR package for dmenu-xft has 94 votes. At least one Arch-based distro (ArchBang) provides dmenu with the xft patch instead of the regular dmenu package. Please consider applying the xft patch to the official dmenu package. Here it is: http://tools.suckless.org/dmenu/patches/xft Thanks. |
