Description:
freecol runs very slow on a clean install of arch i686 with DGA enabled.

After a google search i foudn a way to fix this. Maybe this can be added to the starterscript /usr/bin/freecol?

If there are reasons not to change the current call maybe it can be added as a comment to save others the time searching for it?

A turn-based strategy game based on Colonization

Steps to reproduce:
- just running freecol

Steps to fix:
- adding -Dsun.java2d.pmoffscreen=false to the command in /usr/bin/freecol

Alternate performance improvements:
- change -Xmx256M to -Xmx512M
