Description:

When attempting to open Jabref, it fails with the following:

/usr/bin/jabref: line 3: /bin/java: No such file or directory

Apparently the $JAVA_HOME environment variable is not set. Is this a problem with jabref, or my java installation? jdk7-openjdk 7.b147_2.0-6

Did you manually source /etc/profile or re-login since installing java7-openkdk?

No, I hadn't done that. Just did now $JAVA_HOME is set, and Jabref launches just fine. Thanks!
