Details

Description:
When starting Chromium, either via xfce-panel or via terminal, it sometimes segfaults. Fractions of segfaults to normal start is normally in the range 1/3 - 1/10. Only output in terminal is:

$ chromium
Segmentation fault
$

Additional info:
* package version(s): extra/chromium 16.0.912.77-2

Install chromium, launch from terminal.

Additional comments about closing:  glibc 2.15-5 appears to fix the issue. Reopen if the problem persists.

Provide logs created by "strace" or "gdb", this is useless

After trying "strace chromium" 30 times I cannot seem to reproduce the segfault. Yesterday I had one segfault issuing just "chromium" out of about 15. Today I get no segfaults out of 20 "strace chromium" or 20 "chromium", after updating the following packages:
