Details

Description:

Using kernel 3.2.2, after connecting on a wireless network for a few minutes, it gets disconnected and most of the times fails to reconnect, or takes too much time and disconnects again after a few minutes (reloading the module does not help).

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
Nothing special on dmesg, just that the connection was closed.

Steps to reproduce:
Connect to a wireless network using that driver for a few minutes. I have tried it with more than one laptops.

Sounds like an upstream bug, report it to the intel .

Do you still have this problem on recent kernels? I too experienced iwlwifi issues in some 3.x series (3.3 being the worst for me), but the latest iwlwifi tree seems to solve it for me. Possibly upstream bug: http://bugzilla.intellinuxwireless.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2363

Have this problem since kernel 3.4.
The proposed patch in your link seems to fix it (at least now 3 hours without connection loss).
Network controller is 'Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (rev 35)'.

Are you using networkmanager, netcfg, wpa_supplicant, none of the above?
Please describe your setup and provide logs. Something should be logged.
