Have you even test this package??
Simple service start fails with message: "Failed to parse options: Cannot parse integer value '' for --num-devices".

Have you even read my bug report or seen these two files??
I listed reasons for this and other errors which are bound to happen.

As I see now, several bug reports regarding this have been filled, one as far back as October 2011. Still, my report is somewhat more complete than others.

It's just the search system here somehow couldn't find them, only Google did.

My post was intended for package maintainers ;)
I'm wounder how such broken package can be placed to extra. ArchLinux is unstable forever :)

Ah, well. But remember, you're responding to a bug report, so by default 'you' means its author.

I too wonder why they don't fix script or update program itself (a new version has been released about two weeks ago). I know there's upstream bug resulting in segfault on startup, probably involving [libao] 1.1.0-1 (current):
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3449342&group_id=93175&atid=603423

So maybe cdemu still won't work? Is this the reason why it's not fixed or updated? I know not. :[
