Details

Description: kde 4.8.0 crash on startup after update my system (libpng/libtiff rebuilds). Problem related to phonon-vlc, works fine with phonon-gstreamer.

I'm using phonon-vlc. No issues here.

Try moving ~/.kde4 somewhere else.

I have deleted this directory but the problem still persists

I've recently installed archlinux on another machine, phonon-vlc works fine.
I found a lot of bad packages, i need to reinstall arch on my Desktop PC.
