DetailsDescription:
I always use jack as main audio engine, so I like to have libflashsupport-jack installed from aur. That is fine, I don't need oss. But when I have to build some applications (like wine-rt) oss needs to get installed, and oss comes with libflashsupport.so in the package, which enters in conflict with libflashsupport-jack. This is why I think that libflashsupport.so should be provided as a separate package. I suggest you call it libflashsupport-oss, because you already have "libflashsupport-pulse" and "libflashsupport-jack" Keep in mind that there is a possible scenario in which you have jack use oss and flash use jack, so enforcing flash to use oss make no sense. Additional info: applies to -> oss-4.2_2005-2 conflicting file -> /usr/lib/libflashsupport.so Steps to reproduce: 1. Install any custom libflashsupport 2. Install oss |
