DetailsDescription:
The luatex binary included with the current package is built against an obsolete version of zlib. This not only prevents luatex from being used directly, but also prevents other executables (e.g., xelatex) from being used since luatex's failures corrupt package-wide caches that the other executables depend on. Rebuilding the package on a current system that has zlib 1.2.6 installed fixes the problem. |

to not recompile again the package in testing, better do a 2011.3-1.1 directly in repos/extra-$CARCH
xetex from texlive-bin 2011.3-1 (currently in extra) works for me, but the testing package (texlive-bin 2011.3-3) is broken.
FS#28182.FS#28215when using extra/texlive-bin 2011.3-1.1 with testing/libpng 1.5.7-1Unfortunately quite a lot of packages here depend on libpng >= 1.5.0
luc@charles ~ % xelatex VNS-SMB.tex
