DetailsDescription:
I am trying to build the CodeLite IDE from AUR and get a wxRE_ADVANCED not declared error. With more research, this affects other users building other wxgtk programs, including CodeBlocks. A fix has already been proposed to add --with-regex=builtin (currently set to 'sys') to wxgtk's ./configure options. Setting --with_regex=builtin has already been proven to work, and it certainly works for me. I don't pretend to be smart, but is there any reason why WX's Advanced regex is disabled in repo? Additional info: * codelite 3.5.5375-1 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=18809 for more info Steps to reproduce: 1. makepkg any affected program from AUR (codelite) |

All AUR packages are unsupported. Changed this to a feature request, since this is not a problem with any official packages.
