Have you uploaded a tar file with a PKGBUILD in it? You can't upload a binary package to AUR, you must upload a tar of the directory containing the PKGBUILD and supporting build materials.

If this isn't the problem, can you attach your upload tar?

Hi,

Well the tar file is here

http://freespace.virgin.net/david.templer/mpdcontroller.tar.gz

I cannot see a problem with it, unless I am submiting package wrong

The directory within the tarball doesnt have the same name as the package. The AUR is too dumb to know any better, change the name of the directory to adesklet-mpdcontroller, and it works. (tested)

So, to clarify, $pkgname MUST EQUAL directory name in the tarball and the two of those MUST equal what you type in on the submit page.
