Could you add some more information?

Which packages did you upgrade/install recently? (The lines of /var/log/pacman.log since a little before the bug appeared)

Did anything in your system configuration change?

In general, whenever you report a bug, try to add as much (related) information as possible.

Not a locale problem but a profile problem. Cleared config and no more problems.
