DetailsI got mysql 5.5.20 from mysql.com, compiled and used... with problems.
The binaries version 5.5.20-1 from Archlinux donot have these problems. What are the differences? Is it possible to get (download) the modified sources? |

It's not a secret, read the source files and see what magic (if any) is Arch doing: http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk?h=packages/mysql
