Description:
After upgrading ALSA related packages 1.0.25-1 from 1.0.24.1-1 and pulseaudio-alsa 1-2 to 2-1, and restart the computer, then no sound will be produced. There is no problem to view the mixer using "alsamixer", and no error message shown when playing the audio file with rhythmbox. Downgrade to alsa 1.0.24.1-1 and pulseaudio-alsa 1-2, restart alsa daemon does not solve the problem. But only solve it after restart computer. Additional info: alsa-lib 1.0.25-1 alsa-oss 1.0.25-1 alsa-plugins 1.0.25-1 alsa-utils 1.0.25-1 pulseaudio-alsa 2-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgrade to alsa 1.0.25, and also pulseaudio-alsa 2-1. 2. Restart computer. 3. Play any audio file. |

pulseaudio 2-1 enabled using alsa fallback instead of autospawning pulseaudio. If you want to continue using autospawn, remove the "fallback" lines from /etc/asound.conf.
