With my system boot problems with new kmod and kernel 3.2.1
deployment I ran into problems. With /usr not mounting, and
mkinitcpio.conf reset to stock I was unable to use modprobe
to load the dm-mod necessary to start lvm2 in order to mount
/usr.
This simply could be fixed by putting kmod in / instead of (/usr) so that a minimally bootable system could be used to recover the whole system. |
