Description:
After kmod/3.2.1 install system stopped booting. system: reiserfs lvm2 (with usr,home,var,tmp,opt) all filesystems set to 0 1 in fstab. laptop crashes all the time, generally due to dead battery. with 0 1 in fstab all transactions are replayed during check. Seems new kmod forces /usr to mount. During boot fsck check pass /usr check fails because /usr is already mounted and transaction log cannot replay. The workaround for this is to change mount fstab flags to 0 0 (although I don't know what this will do). |
