I forgot to set the category of a package I uploaded, it has now resulted in a broken entry.

Go to
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php

Search for: zangband
One package will appear, upon clicking it, it says:

Package details could not be found.

Additional comments about closing:  Since it appears not to have resurfaced, I'm closing this bug. If it reappears, we should open another bug, or have this one re-opened.

Paul's got access to the db so he can tell what may have happened better than I can.

Okay, this one's mighty odd. I fixed this bug months ago! Your package is showing up with an invalid category of 19, which doesn't appear in the form anymore but used to.

I have fixed zangband.

Can you do me a favor? In your browser, log into the AUR, go to the "Submit" link on the top bar, and then save the source of the resulting page and attach it to this bug? Then hold shift and reload the page, then save and attach that one, too? I'm wondering if it's somehow a browser refresh issue where you've got the page cached from way back then?

Uhm... same error here for my first package, xsoldier. Unsuccessfully tried the cache cleaning way, it just "doesn't exist", due to lacking package category.

Just fixed xsoldier.

What I can't find yet is a correlation between particular behavior that's causing this. If you can recall, a careful list of the exact steps you took would be useful. Exactly what things you had selected.

If you can reproduce this bug, I'd be eternally grateful!

I do not know whether this is the same bug, but it seems to me that all the package entries are broken at the moment. Go to AUR -> Packages and try to click on any package name -- at least I get some wrong pages or partial pages all the time.

I did it by uploading the package, without setting a package category on the upload form.

Sorry I took so long to reply, I forgot about this until I received the last two comments.

I can't reproduce it. Looks like the bug no longer exists. What do you think?

I had the same problem. But it seems to legitimately keep coming back. Let's leave it open for a while longer.
