Details

Description:
After upgrading from linux-3.1.6 to linux-3.2, the "jack sensing" in alsa stopped working. Both speakers and headphones keep playing.

After downgrading back to linux-3.1.6 or linux-3.1.8 the problem disappears.

sounds like a regression for that particular audio card.

you should report to kernel guys, audio stack

I wanted to make sure I check it's not some misconfiguration on Archlinux's part (thought I doubted that). I'll open a bugreport with linux then; hopefully they'll sort it..
