I tried to compile CodeBlocks from SVN but I can't because Wxgtk is compiled with "--with-regex=sys" insted of "--with-regex=builtin"...

Is there a reason for that or can we update the officail package with this compilation option ?

What error message are you getting? Are you sure that this isn't a codeblocks issue?

I get errors like this :
macrosmanager.cpp: In member function 'void MacrosManager::Reset()':
macrosmanager.cpp:90:33: error: 'wxRE_ADVANCED' was not declared in this scope

Here you have my topic on codeblocks forum with all informations : http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,15759.0.html
Like you see, they say wxgtk have to be build with this "--with-regex=builtin".

You can try to buid it yourself from svn or use the codeblocks-svn package from aur to see errors.

I initially switched to --with-regex=sys as it is usually preferable to use system libraries but as it seems to be causing problems, I've reverted it in svn trunk. wxgtk will be built with --with-regex=builtin next time it's updated (maybe soon).

For wxgtk, building with system regex or builtin regex results in completely different regex implementations. For Unicode builds (like we do), the builtin regex is used by default.

Thank you Eric, I will try when it's updated ;)
