Description: Chromium requires a ~/Downloads directory in order for extension installation to work correctly (hangs at "Checking" after clicking "Install"). Directory should be created if it does not exist. (This could be considered an upstream bug, but is just as easily fixed in the package--at least a warning message would be nice.)

Additional info:
* package version: 16.0.912.63-2

Steps to reproduce:
- don't have a ~/Downloads directory
- install chromium

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  Chromium 16.0.912.75-1 creates the Downloads directory if it's missing.

Packages should never touch home directories/user data.

The relevant upstream bug is Issue 107984 (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=107984).

Looks like this problem doesn't exist in the 16.0.912.75-1 package I uploaded earlier today.

Reopen if it's still an issue.
