Hm, from these Screenshots
http://www.scim-im.org/galleries/scim_screenshots
I figure that scim has an engine that makes trad. chinese input possible. Actually I wanted to play with scim and friends a bit during LinuxTag. So,
what's possible with gcin what's not possible with scim?
Not offending ... serious question

scim and gcin have different dependencies .... i didn't yet checked in detail what is minimum but will do so soon. if the gcin is attractive needing only gtk1 then we may also provide both, no problem ... i will report when i know more

gcin 0.9.8-1 is now available in [testing] ... and somebody needs to write some instructions (in the wiki) how to use it
