DetailsDescription:
Please ensure CONFIG_IWLWIFI is enabled when kernel 3.2 package is created (which will be released soon). The relevant git commit is https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commitdiff;h=3c607d27c818cf4a5d28f2c73b18a88f8fbdfa33;hp=28d8c1df03502918bcafed38a0ccdca090b3a38b . I am currently unable to access wifi in linux-mainline 3.2rc7 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=50893 (binary pkg from [miffe] repo) due to lack of iwlwifi module and I am unable to compile that single module alone. This report is just for the information of the kernel package maintainers. |
