Since /var/run is now simply a symlink to /run it would make sense to pass --rundir=/run to ./configure.

This will not really make a lot of difference, but it would make it possible to use dhcpcd in order to mount /var, which is not really doable now.

This was prompted by a patch by Allan who make use of this location in initscripts.
