Latest kernel (3.1.5-1) will endless loop when a usb card reader (or a device which exports sd card interface) will be attached. The device will be not usable at all and something, if filesystem is mounted sucessfully, the subsequently "disconnection" will broke the filesystem itself. When libmtp is uninstalled, the usb subsystem returns to work like a charm. Additional info: * libmtp 1.1.1-1 Tested with following hardware: Nokia N800 ( not seen at all) Cybook Gen3, Cybook Opus, Cybook Odyssey ( kernel can detect the device, mount partition but randomly disconnected, brokening down the whole filesystem ) Two different all-in-one card reader ( Same as before ) Steps to reproduce: Fresh install of arch linux, install vlc (or any other software which dependes on libmtp), attach any usb device with an internel SD/SDHC memory card or any card reader |

Could you try reproducing this with libmtp-1.1.3 (which I just pushed to [extra]?
