btw when using REPLACES=() you should always also add replaced packages to PROVIDES=()...

Sorry, this ship sailed long ago. We all were given plenty of time to adopt and adapt.

The provision was for the transition, not "just because". It will, however, remain in jack - just not any other (derivative) package.

Solution: Remind AUR users to update their dependencies.
