Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Select menu-accessories-search for files Enter a search string Right-click an item Select "open containting folder" GEdit opens Maybe not so much a bug but more an "oops"?? I reproduced it, selecting "open contining folder" opens the system-known editor for the file.
I just tried it with java files, right-clicking on the file/entry in the list and selecting "open containting folder" opens (for me) Bluefish...so, the choice of app that comes up is related to the type of file selected in the finder.
It really does'nt bug me that much, but what if the title read something like "open with [application]" - but that's already there, as the first entry in the pop up menu...
Maybe it's an XFCE "trait"???
The "filefinder" can be found (XFCE) Applications-Accessories-Search for files...
Thanks for going after this...
Thor
