Description:
the fr local isn't working since update to 9.0, all thunderbird is in English except for a few plugin like lightning

Well I'm actually using fr_CA.utf8 which always worked and yet still work in Firefox 9.0.1. I've still regenerated my locale and ran it with LANG=fr_CA.utf8 Thunderbird but there is no change.

I still have English local in thunderbird but french local for some plugin. Checked on thunderbird 11.0.1-2

Can you please try to install lang for thunderbird from official mozilla site?

Finaly got it to work, I had to activate the local in the extension manager, never had to do it in firefox, and I'm pretty certain to have never deactivated it. But still it's solve and not a bug.
