Description:
From a fresh Arch Linux instalation, pacman doesn't installed python-distribute package, required by ipython. Even that distribute is a common package in python environment, it's not installed by default. So add python-distribute dependency to python.
The same is valid to ipython2 package, with python2-distribute

Additional info:
* ipython 0.12-1

Error traceback on ipython execution w/o python-distribute:
[root@midichlorian ~ #] ipython
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/ipython", line 5, in <module>
from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ImportError: No module named pkg_resources
[root@midichlorian ~ #]

Steps to reproduce:
Install ipython without python-distribute.
Try to launch ipython

I'm still having this issue on the latest python/ipython packages. I had to manually install pkg_resources to get ipython to work!!.

Edit:: Just tried removing the package then reinstalling the python-distribute package which fixed the issue so I believe its still just a dependency issue. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this update!

IMHO missing dependencies issues should be fixed bumping pkgrel, not only in trunk.

Edit.: in the last word of first line of Description, read "ipython" where's "python"
