Description:
Because of commit 029ad76fb4d5117811d1ae5f7c7c5615586aecae on Dec 16th, jre7-openjdk now requires gtk2 and libcups. This pulls in many additional packages related to graphics (as many as 35, though that may include packages that would have been upgraded even without the changes to depends) which are unnecessary in a server environment. I don't know a lot about how pacman packaging works, but is it possible to arrange the packaging in such a way that a server install does not require unneeded desktop graphics packages (like gtk2)?

Please use a 'saner' title, the next time

You have a point. What about gtk2 as optdepends?

please test the new splitted packages in testing. the headless package should solve all your complains in server usage. please give feedback if something is missing or broken.
