It will break all other possible ways to install jdk. I'm strongly against it. You can add needed configuration options using ABS.

i guess that won't add any new dependencies to the package, only makedepends

@Andrew Gaydenko: Good point. I'm currently using ABS to enable the options. The libbluray build system should have some way to detect the Java JDK.

@Ionut Biru: That's also a good point. Since packages in the extra repo cannot depend any AUR packages, the only JDK we have to worry about is the office openJDK package.

I'm not aware of the way official jdk is installing, but probably $JAVA_HOME can be used..

why do you say is a major feature in libbluray but is not enabled by default?
Comment by Andrew Gunnerson (chenxiaolong) - Sunday, 11 December 2011, 18:53 GMT
@Andrew Gaydenko: That seems to work fine for me.
Comment by Andrew Gunnerson (chenxiaolong) - Sunday, 11 December 2011, 18:55 GMT
@Ionut Biru: I assumed it was a major feature, since no other open source Blu Ray libraries have been able to render and display the Blu Ray menus, except for libbluray (at least theoretically).
