Details

Description: Asks for gcc-libs-4.2.1 and not for gcc-libs-2.1.4, and I need gcc in order to install openbox. So if you get check this out, I'd appreciate it.

* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:
Uninstall GCC if you already have it and all dependencies for it and then try to reinstall it, I guess. I'm not sure, since I'm working on a brand new setup of Arch and can't figure out how to connect to the internet yet, so I'm downloading everything using Windows and then installing it in Arch.

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand your issue.

I guess you misread glibc>=2.1.4 as gcc-libs.
