libvirt needs the 'netcf' (not to be confused with 'netcfg') for NAT networking to work. If libvirt is compiled without netcf, it falls back to HAL, which is deprecated and no longer included in Arch Linux. The problem is that 'netcf' is in the AUR. It would have to be maintained in the 'Community' repo.
