Description:
In the current version of Evolution 3.2.2 I am no longer able to create new folders in my IMAP mails. Whenever I right-click on a folder and click on "Ordner anlegen..." (create folder), in the pop-up window my IMAP accounts are no longer shown, only the local folders. This bug is specific to the 3.2.x version. I have three Arch Linux installation and this happens on all of them. I have a Gentoo installation with Evolution 2.32.2 that does not have this bug. Thunderbird also works perfectly all machines (Arch Linux and Gentoo Linux). Older versions of Evolution had worked also under Arch Linux. This behaviour started after an update some 2 months ago on all three machines. The IMAP account is on my local server. I have not changed the configuration in the last two years. So I can confirm that it is not a problem on the server side and it is working as expected with the older evolution version and with thunderbird. Additional info: Steps to reproduce: 1. open evolution 3.2.2 2. open an IMAP account 3. right-click on a folder in thuis IMAP account and choose "create folder" 4. try to create a folder in this IMAP folder tree. |
