On my Macbook with EFI boot, the plugin does not show the remaining battery time. The bug was already fixed in the git code 9 months ago but no major release has occured since then. See http://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-battery-plugin/commit/?id=f4a68f05e838291d1ddcb60f7c719873bfd57d27 This patch should be included in 1.0.0 until the next version release Additional info: * package version 1.0.0-1
