when tried to do a pacman -Suy, it didn't work, because smc was failing to find sdl_gfx on the repos. I had to completely remove smc in order to update my system. After trying to re-install smc it didn't work either, it couldn't find a very specific version of sdl_gfx.

Seems this version is built against the sdl_gfx from testing. Please move sdl_gfx and all others from that todo list to extra, as the todo list was finished yesterday.
