Details

Description: libvirt logs an error to syslog when the 'libvirtd' daemon is started if 'dmidecode' is not installed.


Additional info:
* package version: 0.9.7-2
* Log message: "2011-12-02T15:30:52.938045 <hostname> libvirtd: 31818: error : virSysinfoRead:465 : internal error Failed to find path for dmidecode binary"

Steps to reproduce:
* Install libvirt while 'dmidecode' is not installed
* Enable logging to syslog in /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf
* Start the libvirtd daemon
* Check /var/log/messages
