Description:
Many programs in x86-64 tell that system is 'x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu', not 'archlinux' or something else.
For example, `bash --version` tells 'GNU bash, версія 4.2.20(2)-release (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu)',
Mozilla Firefox's user agent string tells 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0.1)'(but nothing about archlinux),
Chromium's user agent string alse tells 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64)',
gcc has 'x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-*' executables and so on

FWIW, my 32-bit system:
[karol@black ~]$ bash --version
GNU bash, version 4.2.20(2)-release (i686-pc-linux-gnu)

look at the architecture field of this task and at the first line of the text.

This would require rebuilding the toolchain and the entire distro (the CHOST var is not something you mess with lightly). It would very likely lead to widespread breakage. I see zero benefit given the time required.

I would like to have this string fixed too - not now, but sometime during a major rebuild in future.

This is nothing that can be changed... See Dave's comment.
