DetailsI would like to request for the mozilla plugin to be enabled by default in the multimedia application VLC. I have checked the PKGBUILD and it seems to not include the option --enable-mozilla which would build the respective plugin.
This page http://www.videolan.org/doc/vlc-user-guide/en/ch07.html has all the details you might need. Thank you |
This task depends upon
gecko-sdk should be used as build dependency, look for issues and workarounds at the mplayer-plugin package about CFLAGs.
For totem 1.0 with the unstable plugin that didn't work I made a detection of the existence of /opt/mozilla/lib/pkgconfig/firefox-plugin.pc and sed the detection of mozilla-plugin to firefox-plugin in that case in the configure script. For plain gecko-sdk, an extra define is required in the CFLAGS.
