Description:
Since I updated to kernel 3.1 (but also a bunch of other packages), my laptop completely freezes when I turn off the display and on again (via the FN+F2 keys in my case on the keyboard):
The display is on again, like usual, but a message gets printed (you see how it just starts to print in that moment from top, when you pay attention) and then the laptop is not usable anymore, I have to reboot via the power button.

I've taken a photo with my mobile that shows the error message, because I couldn't find it in the log files. If someone can tell me, where I need to look, I will upload it of course (looked in everything.log so far).

Tested about six times now.

also the Xorg cursor is visible, which is very strange o_O

Thanks!

package versions tested:
linux 3.1.1-1
linux 3.1-4

did NOT happen with:
linux 3.0.7-1 (or lower)

arch: x86_64

PS: I'm sorry that I made a duplicate at https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/26885 with the long "severity" level and linux-3.1-4, but I really think this is critical.
