after a few checks, the sr_mod doesn't loaded, so no /dev/sr0, even I `modprobe sr_mod`, there still no /dev/sr0.

Anyway you can try one of isos with latest Linux. http://releng.archlinux.org/isos/

But again, nothing can be done here ;)
