After restarting or stop/starting pcmcia service, the cardmgr and syslog-ng processes get 50% of the CPU each, and my laptop gets on FIRE. I can't remove these processes, they keep popping up!

Please fix the problem, as I need to install some new wireless drivers and need to stop/start pcmcia all the time to test them. Right now, I can't work, as my laptop gets 100% cpu time because of that cardmgr bug.

Could you provide us some detail about your laptop? I know this doesn't happen on mine when I start pcmcia.

Also, could you supply some detail about your package versions for pcmcia-cs and kernel?
