* I would like to add the following compile-option to xine-lib: --with-external-ffmpeg One can add "ffmpeg" as a makedepends-parameter. Ofcourse there is more chance that the someone could be using a wrong ffmpeg-library here. * Adding 'libogg' to the depends-array Michel |

another useful feature is to enable the support for esd. You just
have to add "--enable-esd" to ./configure line

I'm gonna pass on the ffmpeg option for the reason stated, this is
the reason I kept it out of mplayer as well. I'll add esd support
though and add libogg to the deplist.
