Description:

Upgraded from 7.0.1 to 8.0 which now crashes after a few seconds of opening. I tried a new profile, without plugins and still crashes.

When running from CLI, I get:

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 597: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!

Rolling back to 7.0.1 works perfectly (this is what i am using to write this bug report)

Additional info:
* package version(s) 8.0
* config and/or log files etc.

Linux darkangel 3.1.0-4-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Nov 7 22:47:18 CET 2011 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Steps to reproduce:

Upgrade to 8.0 and start it from the command line.
