Description:
xf86-input-synaptics does not recognize three fingers gestures (only tapping). I. e. tapping and moving three fingers only results in "button 3", not "button 8/9", which are required for back/forward functions in web browsers. Status? Current xf86-input-synaptics should be much improved in
this regard.
